FAQ

Unlike regular green tea, where the leaves are steeped and discarded, matcha is made by finely grinding whole green tea leaves into a powder, so you consume the entire leaf. This gives matcha a richer flavor, more antioxidants, and a smoother, longer-lasting energy boost compared to regular green tea.
Our Matcha is sourced from Shizuoka, one of Japan’s most celebrated tea-growing regions, known for its nutrient-rich soil, pristine water, and ideal climate for cultivating high-quality matcha. Matcha from this region is loved for its smooth, balanced flavor with subtle umami and no bitterness, making it perfect for beginners as well as everyday matcha drinkers.
We use 100% USDA Organic, Ceremonial Grade A Matcha for a smooth, vibrant, and non-bitter experience.
Yes, matcha naturally contains caffeine, but usually much less than coffee. A serving of matcha typically contains around 70mg of caffeine, compared to about 90–120mg in a cup of coffee.

What makes matcha different is that it also contains L-theanine, an amino acid that helps promote calm, focused energy without the jitters or sudden crash often associated with coffee. Because the caffeine release is gentler and more balanced, many parents also choose lighter matcha drinks for older kids or teens in moderation, unlike highly caffeinated energy drinks or strong coffees.
1. Add 1 tsp or 2g of GG matcha into a bowl or cup.

2. Add a small amount of warm water (not boiling) and whisk in zigzag motion until smooth and frothy.

3. Take a glass, add ice first, followed by milk of choice and pour your whisked matcha on top for a creamy matcha latte.

For a smoother blend, use a liquid sweetener like honey, maple syrup, or jaggery powder/monk fruit powder instead of regular sugar, which can settle at the bottom.
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, and keep it tightly sealed to maintain freshness. Best way recommended for Indian climate is to store in the fridge.
