I'm going to start with the most cliche statement The greatest wealth is health said by BC Roman poet Virgil, and this can not be more truer than now given the current pandemic.
I believe in bio=individuality one person's food is an others poison. Deep inside we all know what our body accepts and what it rejects even if it's dairy for some but still, we want to follow the latest bullshit diet trends, which bring no long term benefits whatsoever. Try not to fall into these diet trends such as KETO, PALEO, or the blood group diet, etc. I love veganism and intermittent fasting (need a whole another blog post for my experience) but don't be a vegan just because its trendy or cool.
Listen to your body here are some basic rule of thumb when it comes to maintaining optimal health and gorgeous glowing skin (Hey!!! you cant expect to have the most glowy dewy skin while eating shit food and smoking it's like eating Oreos while brushing)
1. Go Clean (organic) if possible !!!!!
You are what you eat and also you are what you eat ate. this makes so much sense to me i read it somewhere . this is applicable to vegans and vegetarians as well yes. Plants are treated with so many chemical fertilizers and Pesticides. What is the use of these Pesticides? They kill the bugs in the plants! good enough right? I don't think so, the general basic difference between bugs and humans is the size of course hence pesticides are equally harmful to us therefore kill us slowly!!!
Green Cruciferous vegetables, in-season fruits, especially if they are unripe ( mangoes, papaya, ( think green papaya salads ) Banana when unripe our gut loves these fruits!!
2. Eat 100percent grass-fed meat and wild-caught fish. You don't want artificial hormones and antibiotics in your system.
3. make sure Eggs you eat are pastured eggs. ( hens that are allowed to roam freely the eggs that come from them ) look at the picture below do you want your eggs to come from stressed-out miserable chickens or these happy free to roam around ones? make these choices now or pay hospital bills later.
4. Finally my forever no please - "No Gluten" (Use gluten-free options like Jawar, Bajra, singhara atta all the are very high fiber. almond flour coconut flour is great too.
NO processed sugar! NO Dairy (goat milk kefir and cheese and ghee are ok ghee doesn't have the lactose)
5. Good fats are the most essential. My favorite Avocados, avocado oil( can withstand) high-temperature Indian cooking style) EVOO, and coconut oil. Ghee and eat the egg yolks!!
almond butter over peanut butter and nuts!!!!
This is like a basic summary, from my experience and whatever I have read. Will be sharing some insane delicious healthy recipes and also how to eat organic cheaply. and will be elaboration more on these topics individually.
