Pantry Staples
Nut milk (dairy is not good for skin especially acne-prone and our gut)
Pasture eggs or vegan eggs
Almond butter
Oils
Avocado oil
Extra virgin olive oil
Grass-fed ghee
Coconut oil
Sugar substitutes
Stevia and erythritol(swerve) are ideal for baking. Maple syrup (loaded with macronutrients but in moderation), coconut sugar, coconut nectar, raw honey all organic of course.
-Some seeds we love for a quick dessert fix - chia and basil seeds (packed with Fiber and so much goodness)
-Black sesame seeds and white sesame seeds
Flour
Coconut flour, almond flour, jowar(sorghum) add it to your salad instead of quinoa. Bajra(millets )basically singhara atta, buckwheat (kuttu).
Indian basmati rice ( in moderation, not brown rice plz ) and wild rice
Spices
Cinnamon turmeric, cayenne pepper, black pepper, Himalayan salt or sea salt (throw out the white table salt down the drain now plz !)
Nutritional yeast is an absolute must !!!! (B vitamin-rich powder has a cheesy taste)
Baking powder (aluminum-free)
Dark chocolate 72 percent and above cocoa
Full of tryptophan and theobromine it helps to keep us happy and calm.
(yes, it’s my staple at least! Given the isolation situation)
And last delicious Green teas matcha and organic coffee
These are just some that I could come up with and I always have it in my pantry .
